The first thing to check is the readout setting. If it is set to degrees and tenths of a degree and read as degrees minutes and seconds then big errors follow. Next to check would be if there is an offset setting in place. Some units might have a DR program if satillite reception is lost so a check of satillite reception and number received should be done.
