We have discussed the risk of relying on only GPS with no backup and here is an example. These are NOTAMS issued to pilots today, hope you are not planning to use gps in the these areas. What's next? gl
The planned disturbances appear to be centred on Holloman AFB, New Mexico. Either they’re planning quite a party, or there’s some kind of testing planned which might affect GPS reception in the area, either accidentally or intentionally. Reading the Wikipedia entry for Holloman AFB and looking at the times might give a clue which. DaveP
