I precisely followed Commander Bauer's advice and was able to adjust all of my errors to zero, on both my instruments. That was the advice I was recommending.
So for my Circle of Reflection with its many adjustments, and the high end Heath Hezzanith, not as many adjustments but still quite adjustable, I had success in following that advice.
Your results may differ. I think we may just have to agree to disagree on this point.
