Hello!
The main point of my surprise was that the naked eye and a view through a telescope give different pictures: two distinct vertically divided images vs two overlapped images of slightly different brightness.
May be this is simply because the telescope has MUCH narrower field of view while the naked eye sees "the whole picture" including far too many excessive/unrelevant details.
The horizon mirror of the FREIBERGER is split vertically - left half is transparent, right half is reflective.
