The 11:56:48 UT sunline is only 14 minutes after LAN and could have been worked out as an ex-meridian using Nories tables. This would have saved considerable sight reduction time. The ex-meridian correction is +10'. Add this to Ho and solve as a LAN. I get L 37* 10' S.
