Please find attached a method that I developed to solve certain navigational problems. It combines a graphic with some basic equations.
So far I have not seen anything similar.
For those interested, I can post a manuscript that explains how the method works.
For clarification the distance of the celestial body in the problem to the observer "O" is 60*cos D.
