I believe I may have made an an error in my previous post when I wrote that:
"Now, if one were to follow [Stan's] given bearing of 245.7°, they would also not arrive at the waypoint listed on my spreadsheet. By my rough estimate, one would arrive about 10.5 NM south-southeast. This is [again] because the waypoint is on the G.C. route and not a rhumb line."
Upon further consideration, I see that one would indeed land at my given waypoint following a rhumb line at Stan's given course. Only when following a G.C. course at that bearing would one arrive 10.5 NM SSE of the waypoint. Obviously I still have a lot of studying to do. ;)
