Since you are reducing from your current time zone to UTC0 zone time then it seems intuitive that you would also want UTC0 date.

I so regularly did all my work to reduce a sight, then find the results were nonsense due to using my local date rather than the UTC date that I got a watch that supported two time zones and set one Zone to UTC.
