I had no idea that there are so many ways to do multiplication! I've now tried the Vedic and the latice methods, and Napier's bones, all are interesting (especially dem bones) but I think it makes most sense for everybody to use the method they were taught back in 4th grade, the method they are most familiar with. Less llikely to make a mistake. I'm sticking with long multipliction.
