Correction: compression along the central meridian is 1:9, not 1:8.
And the easiest solution to the scaling problem on the 15°-30° diagram seems to just be to print it at a different scaling factor compared to the other pages. 47/48 is the ratio that works for me (e.g. 86.17% for that one page instead of 88%).
