My primary navigation calculator is an HP-48GX. I have written my own almanac software for it in its unique RPL langauge. Well, all of the good RPN programmable HP calculators have been discontinued recently: the HP-48G+, the HP-49G, and the HP-48GX are now history -- gone from HP's website. http://www.hp.com/calculators/ You can still buy an HP-48GX at Amazon (until they run out) for about $150. ... so if you want a spare for the future, buy now! I did. HP claims on the website that they will be introducing new calculators sometime later this year, but I doubt that they will be as nice. Who knows... Dan
