just got a boat show related email from Sail Magazine and featuring a special "early bird" pricing for periods up to the first of the year.
But that is not the point, I went tot he Hanse website just to look the boats over, I have alway held them in esteem for their safety and handling.
Then came a picture of the NAV station on the 460 class and it is a FULL SIZED table! Wow, a designer actually listened to sailors and put a full sized in.
Not only that but the NAV STATION is situated to FACE the open compartment, not tucked away in a corner as on a lot of boats.
This way a rolled or flat chart can easily and without encumerance flow over the sides. and you only need clips or weights on the table surface.
I gues what I am saying is that maybe if any are in the market for a new and well built boat, that Hanse ought to be considered!
