About all I can add is the following, re some of the outlandish prices. Possibly the "seller" doesn't really want to part with the thing, of course the next question would be, so why offer it.
Possibly there is an expectation of some idiot with more money than sense coming along, Who Knows What Evil Lurks In The Minds of Men.
