Frank-
"Building sea walls around the world's numerous great cities and countless
coastal towns
would cost a fortune."
Sea walls would only be one answer. But then again, if global warming was not
happening and the normal ice age was allowed to resume...We'd have to be
fighting the glaciers out of cities and growing our crops in the Sahara or
someplace else that was still warm enough to have a growing season.
The world isn't static, whichever way we make it go, we'll have to deal with it.
And since it seems that everyone wants to "deal" before anyone wants to pay for
the underlying knowledge...I'm resigned to seeing the job botched, big time.
i.e., We banned particulates from emissions, which should be a good thing. And
then found out, the particualtes had been countering global warming.
"Ready, Fire! Aim?"
Who am I to object, that's the way the world seems to want it to be done. I'm
looking at real estate in cooler higher places instead.
