Hello!
Paul said that the "...Xylene is usually chosen for bubble chambers because it’s index of refraction closely matches that of the curved glass windows (making it a solid “block” as far as the light is concerned)".
Now I wonder how does the bubble affect the image of a star in a through-chamber (say, A-5, A-7) type sextant?
