Brian... I don't remember anything about laser calibration. Sorry. The way I calibrate is to use an artificial horizon (Davis) from a known GPS position and work back to an Hs altitude for each reflected sun image then confirm the next day with another set of observations using conventional sight reduction. Good observations should have intercepts of +/- 2' .
