Hmm... This sounds like an Internet access issue. From my perspective reading a logbook "on-line" is fundamentally the same thing as "downloading". Maybe you could describe your Internet access situation. Why do you need to go to the library to view logbook pages? Where would you instead be 'downloading' and why can't you view the logbook pages directly from there? If off-line access is what you're looking for, do you know how to save a web page and/or an image from a page when you're viewing it in a web browser? Maybe that's what you're looking for?? For example, here's a link to a page in the logbook of the Charles W. Morgan in 1843. And I'm attaching the same logbook page extracted while browsing that link (in Windows in most browers, you right-click the image and select "save image as..." or something synonymous).
