    As I understand you refer to some article in Philosophical Transactions (Of 
    what? Of the Royal society? Of London Math society?)
    Who are the authors, what is the year?
    
    I am especially interested because there was a famous mathematician whose name was Mary Cartwright
    but I never knew that she worked on tides (if this is she, not another person with the same name).
