The 6" square mirror has allowed me to tke sun sights as low as 3-4 degrees. Of course you can only see on limb at a time. For stars you are more likely to be limted by houses and trees than by mirror size. More important for low angles is changing to a first-surface mirror. This is a must as far as I'm concerned.
