    Yeah, that's a shame... Two factors are probably working against you: cycles in sextant pricing, and WW2 nostalgia pricing. These numbers rise and fall, but that's not much help right now... :/

    Oh! If you have those sorts of skills, that sounds like a great idea. The housing does not demand precision design. You could generate your own schematics from similar, complete instruments, and that would work. I have not owned a Mk II in some years, but there must be other NavList members who could contribute photos and measurements...
