Not sure I can help with your question, as I do not understand it.
Almanac gives astronomical data referenced to GMT.
A Lunar distance sight when analyzed gives you GMT at time of sight.
The standard moon sight accompaning the lunar distance sight can be solved as a time sight giving LHA of Moon at time of sight and tereby your longitude.
Equation of time plays no part.
