On the after-thought: some time ago I was asked by a friend to help him to aim a satellite antenna - using the Sun as a direction marker.
The calculation of the azimuth was easy, the calculation of the parallax in altitude was the most enjoyable part. But then - we had to calculate the angle of the converter rotation. This I could not do just as easily. We had to tweak it for the maximum signal.
Now I think the "horns line" and the converter rotation must be coming from the same formula (yet unknown to me). A sort of a "CelNav for the house-keeping" topic. :)
