Thanks Frank. Makes sense that they'd publish a couple years in advance to accommodate long voyage Captains.
Do you, or anyone, know how he charted St Laurence Bay before the publication of the first Nautical Almanac?
I recall hearing from some offshore sailors that some of his Canadian charts (in low frequent visiting or non commercial traffic spots) were used for a long time......
