I have a backburner project of creating a set of cards, one per star with random factoids on it. Principal, being its name, magnitude, location and a minimap of a portion of a sky where it is located relative to other recognizable constellations. The sketch is what I end up with before the project went into cold storage.
I am a believer in a theory that it is easier to remember things if they are accompanied with some other facts and connections -- this is a way to trick brain to think they are more important and actually pay attention. And also it needs occasional reinforcement -- hence the cards to hold in your hands and randomly review.
I would much rather simply purchased them, but nobody seems to make it.
