Table 13 ( Geographic Range ) from the 2002 Bowditch stops at 49.2 NM. It seems real-life limits of about 50 NM over the ocean ( or 80 NM in the cold, clear Cook Inlet ) are about right.
Good to hear from folk that have seen and done it.
