    Hughes Sextant Nut Type
    From: Craig D

I have a Kelvin & Hughes Sextant, called a "MATE" sextant.

I need to tighten the shades. The machine screw has been tightened right down to the frame so tensioning via the machine screw head is not possible. The screw is really tight  and it might be stuck because of corrosion. It was in mess before I slowly resstored it.

Anyone know what the nut type is. I tried an assortment of Snake eye bits however they dont fit. I have attached a picture of the nut.

As a last resort I will make a driver from a old screwdriver if I cant find a driver bit

    Thanks.
