I made a mistake on my comments regarding Bill's books and manuals. Better stated he povides both. His books on the sextant are excellent, I was however speaking of the manuals ( of which he has four, covering various bubble sextant types, and I have most of them).
It is then the manual I was recommending, in this case the one on the MK Ix, and for that matter I highly recommend them all.
In fact, case in point. Only yesterday my Mk IX had an issue with the gear box, and as one may guess, covered expertly in his Manaul.
