    Using M. Parts and M. Distances I get:
    N39d 20.4'
    W121d 22.6'
    but of course this example is over much too short a distance to show
    meaningful discrepancy. At least the extra work has not revealed a less
    accurate result! Phew!
    
    It also shows, if Guy was using Mid-Lat, that it is quite adequate over
