In addition to the items mentioned by others, I'd take paper copies, or a PDF, of the relavent pages, selected stars, from HO 249 Vol 1. I was ashore in Australia two years ago with the Long Term Almanac 2000-2050, a plastic sextant, and a compass and I couldn't get oriented to the brief chances for evening sights of an unfamiliar night sky.
On an earlier Carribean cruise in familiar northern waters, I had no problems. We're upside down up here. :-)
