Hello Frank,
I wasn't aware of the Fens. I did ask myself why Peterborough and Norwich were not equally visible. But because I don't know much about those cities either, I assumed Cambridge much be much larger.
The name "Fens" is interesting and is likely coming from the same origin as Vens in Dutch (Moor) and Fehn in German (Moor).
I could see my home in the picture. Rüstersiel is marked as a red dot in the picture. And nearby is "Fehnland", a moor area, not far from the East Frisian Coast.

So on both sides of what was Doggerland, there are "Fenlands".
