Fred commented "Ah comon Frank! Indiana is about as plain Jane as a state can be. Indiana time was their only claim to fame, along with the 500. :) Jeez guys, we have Indiana Beach--"The Riviera of the Midwest" on Lake Shaffer. And French Lick, Indiana. Which is almost as good as Pennsylvania with Intercourse, Blue Ball, and Penn State's Beaver Stadium in Happy Valley. If you go to Beaver Stadium via 144 or 26 from I80, you have the extra pleasure of passing through Pleasant Gap. Illinois boasts what, "Normal, Illinois?" Or Chicago, which legend says is a derivation of the Indian word for "smelly onions." As one comedian put it, "Chicago was inhabited by transplanted New Yorkers who said, "We love the crime, overpopulation, and pollution in New York; it just isn't cold enough.'" And how about a river flows backwards? Chicago residents remind St. Louis residents that all their "stuff" flows down to St. Louis. St. Louis reminds Chicago they send it back in cans labeled Budweiser. Rim shot, and he's here all week. Bill
