    Yes, I think so too, she was about the wrong page. And I got her idea (English is not my native) as if she imagined that Mr Noonan stopped following the NA lines for the 2nd June where and when - by his DR - the plane has crossed the date line. From that moment - she says - Mr Noonan was reading the 3rd June page. And carried on from the next line relative to where he was on the previous page (not at midnight GMT).

    Such a madness could happen only to a navigator that was using local time.

    At least - I cannot imagine any other plausible explanation to her way of thinking.
