    Interpolating a traverse table
    From: David McN

I have attached an extract from a compact form traverse table. I like the table for its brevity and precision. Given course and distance, dLat and dep are easily found.  But the reverse problem arises frequently: given dLat and dep, what is the course and distance. In long form traverse tables such as Nories includes, it is simple. In the compact format table, the answer doesn't just pop out.

I haven't been able to satisfactorily come up with a quick and easy interpolation method to answer that, either by eyeball inspection or brief pencil and paper. I wonder if any NavListers have already done this and can help?
