Check to see how far SHA Sirius (and Procyon) has been nudged
Assumption: Right hand photo is current. RA Sirius = 6h 45m 09s
= 6h 44m 69s
RA B Cmaj = 6h 22m 42s
Difference = 0h 22m 27s = 22.45m
=22.45x15/60 = 5.6degrees
On my 22” screen dist bottom of Sirius to B Cmaj = 30mm on the correct photo
On my 22” screen dist bottom of Sirius to B Cmaj = 15mm on the nudged photo
Therefore SHA Sirius had been nudged approx. 3 degrees from 259° to 262°.
Therefore: Distance moved = 8.6tan3=0.45 light years, and time=10x0.45=4.5 years, which is a long time to go without a decent haircut. DaveP
