Silly me. I could have saved myself at trouble of the calcs by simply subtracting the Moon’s Mer.-Pass. time on 16th Sep from that on 17th September. 05.17-04.27=50 minutes. One really must use almanacs etc frequently to remain familiar with them. DaveP
