Too obvious I guess but in the cosine formula, "+" before cos C is not correct as the product is multiplied by cos C.
I agree with Dave that there's another in the the tide cycle description. Angle C is the LHA of the Moon and goes thru 1 (360°) cycle in a nominal 24h 50m. The tide cycle (high-low-high) occurs at twice that frequency or 12h 25m. A mixing of 2 cycles - maybe.
