Have finished all of _Celestial_Navigation_in_a_Teacup_ for for Appendix 4, which I hope to finish in the next couple days. The formulae for Hc and Zo work! Used the starting position, waypoint and destination latitudes adn longitudes available on the last page of the Amazon preview of David Burch's _Hawaii_by_Sextant_.

Glad to hear it! And welcome to our addiction. ;) As you are finding out, there are many methods of celestial navigation and even more opinions on them. But isn't that the best part: the journey of discovery? I'm still a relative 'sophomore' at this, myself. Luckily, for both of us, there's still life in this practice and we have NavList to help us.
By the way, have you heard of "100 problems in Celestial Navigation" by Leonard Gray? It's an excellent source of practice material.
