Yes, that's correct. I asked for the algorithm and to show an example. Algorithm correct, example incorrect. But it did have several intermediate steps correct.

It is also interesting how asking the question in a slightly different form gives quite different output.

I was also surprised at the discrepancies I found in other online converters.

I have been finding Copilot handy for rounding up information and putting it in a reasonable format that makes it easier to check.

I kind of view like Wikipedia, a good starting point.

My next step is to check out the algorithm for sun GHA and declination. 

I think I am a little  more clear on what I'm dealing with now!
