Thanks for the response. I put the Copilot output into a separate post. Having gone through the excercise years ago, I wasn't looking to rebuild a comprehensive program. My thinking was that Copilot could easily find what I was looking for. At first, the output was well organized and neatly presented with a worked example. What has surprised me is that I tried using the equations and could not duplicate the worked examples. And then I found that the equation for JD was correct and resolved against the NASA JD calculator and with Alex. I just found it strange that the AI got the equation correct and example wrong. I also noticed several other online calculators were incorrect.
What I though would be a rather neat and simple task for Copilot was evidently a misguided notion! Yes, better to get back to Meeus! So my initial endeavour, i.e. looking for some simple equations got hijacked with me exploring the Copilot/AI capabilities.
