The most recent IMCCE newsletter, online here
https://www.imcce.fr/lettre-information/archives/225
predicts a minimum geocentric separation of 0° 51.63′ on 12 August at 06:39:10 UTC. Venus will be the brighter of the two at mag. -3.9, Jupiter at mag. -1.9 is the fainter one.
The next close approach between both planets will on 26 August 2027, with a separation of 0.49488°, but this will be invisible as both planets are then very close to the Sun.
