Paul Jackson, you wrote:

I'm not seeing anything like that on any versions of this app on my end. Anybody else? Please send any reports of anomalous behavior to me by email: Frank@ReedNavigation.com.
Paul, I recall that you reported similar behavior (by email) in January 2024. Then, with no changes on your end, it was back to normal within a few hours. Two general suggestions: 1) Reboot your phone. 2) Visit the App Store and see if you have a pending update. That may be the problem.
Also, can you tell me which generation of iPhone you have? How old is it? If it's more than about five years old, a day will come when it may no longer be able to get updates. Unfortunately, that's normal in modern smartphones. :/
Thanks,
Frank Reed
