Isn't there another slide in the inverting telescope? It looks like there is an eyepiece on the right side. Bill said that three-ring Husuns' with an inverting telescope were designated as a "Master." My "Mate" has "Mate" stamped on the arc. He also said the "Masters" had lesser arc errors. At least the sextant adjuster calls it a Mates in the attached receipt. Do you think you could get a new index mirror fitted and adjusted for one pound seventeen shillings and sixpence today? > > Am I a slide missing? Capt O M Watts says all inverting telescopes came with two slides. Ive only got one, the four wire one. Can anyone tell me what went in the little rectangular housing on the bottom left and the circular housing top right. Could it be to put the star telescope in when not in use, or for the missing slide?
