Hi Gary,
I read your post with interest. More than 20 years ago I was in Windsor, NSW, Australia on business and met someone from the U.S. Air Force outside the hotel. They had flown into the nearby Richmond air base.
I asked about CelNav and he went into detail about the multiple electronic systems they had and, said they didn’t do CelNav any more, and didn’t need it.
I said “Unless you have a lightning strike.” He just shrugged.
I wonder if the USAF is like the USN and has rediscovered CelNav?
