Thanks Fergus. This is about the fourth time it’s come up in the last couple of months. If you look closely, you’ll see it’s really bashed about. I emailed the company and, against my better judgement, offered £50GBP for it, but they never replied. If I’ve got to pay £180 like they’re asking, I’ll wait until a good one comes up. Before Christmas, I only paid £70 for a pristine Bundeswher 3V Kollsman pendulous reference sextant from a similar surplus organisation in Poland. It's got that lovely whiskey/pipe tobacco smell you can't resist when you open the box. DaveP
