It will be my birthday soon and when I am asked what I want I may say "a reconditioned A12 from Celestaire". It may just work (-;
But I have a problem. I live in an area with light pollution. I can see Orion and the Cross and a few of the navigational stars (I have not looked for them all) but not much else. The local council is part way through a program to replace sodium street lights with LEDs. They have not done our street yet. I have read that LEDs increases light pollution.
Is there anyone on the forum who has experience of LEDs replacing sodium lights? I would like to go out into my backyard and do some three star fixes at my leisure. Will my wife be wasting her money if she buys me an A12?
