    This is really off-topic for NavList, so may I suggest (just a suggestion!) that folks reply to Steve on this issue by private email. Steve, there are better places on the Internet to inquire about this sort of thing. I suggest you search on "laptop GPS bluetooth" and "laptop GPS USB" and look for message boards where people are discussing options. Don't get me wrong, we do frequently discuss GPS devices and capabilities and it's on-topic when it leads to comparison to or contrast with celestial or other traditional forms of position-finding or when we're considering the failure modes that might leave a window open for GPS. But basic product recommendations on electronics and GPS systems are really outside the main expertise of this group.
