    Circumference of equal altitude.
    sin H = sin B sin Dec + cos B cos Dec cos (GHA+L)
The most beautiful equation in the world. Not Euler's identity :)

    B: latitude
    L: longitude
    Dec: declination
    GHA: Greenwich Hour Angle
    H: Altitude

    Only language:
It is not a circle. In marine navigation is altitude not height.
In Spanish and in other Latin languages: altura, recta de altura (LoP), circunferencia de altura, Circunferencia de alturas iguales, ...

An example with my free App: AstroNavigation for Windows.

    Fair winds
