Well done Tom Patrick with your precise working. You cracked it. It's footsteps from the road. If you go into 'Street View' in Google Maps you can look at it from several angles. Also, if you keep scrolling throurh the photographs, next after the one you posted comes the very photograph that Frank posted. It was photographed by Nick Bryan in November 2024. He also writes about the stones here: https://www.facebook.com/100064653013800/photos/papa-stour-standing-stones-shetland-isles-scotlandi-am-fairly-certain-these-are-/1782814985285076/ . It's suggested they were erected by Council Workers when they upgraded the road. I'm still uncertain about the shadows behind the stones. DaveP
