    well I see north. um.  We have a shadow that is then coming from the south roughly.
    we have an ocean or something, will have to serve as a horizon.
    identify stars.  get some fingers to measure rougly a relative altitude between a pair of stars.  And I think we are so far north(which makes sense since we see northern lights) that we must be on an island, which seems to narrow it down.
    I'd have to make some kind of paper ruler to measure better... but I stabbed an arrow down at 60 someting North and it "looks" ok, so that's Shetland Islands.
