    William,

    This is probably a photo enhanced image so use with caution. Why not take your own image from a known position and time using a 24mm or 35mm lens.  The stars in the back ground of attached image could be Ursa Major (The Big Dipper) which puts latitude at about the equator and LHA of Aries roughly at 160°. Ecuador would be my guess not knowing anything about indigenous domicile structures.
